Welcome to the Club!
The Interstellar Club is a new book series geared toward elementary students. The concept is to combine space science facts along with science fiction and fantasy.
A group of elementary science club students stumble on a space shuttle that seems to have been designed for them. The soon discover that they have been chosen to help save and relocate the human race to a new world. The mission is to explore nearby star systems for a habitable world.
Before they are ready to explore the unknown, they must train extensively and what better place to train, but our own solar system. The majority of the book series will take place in our own solar system, as the kids learn everything they can about planets, stars, moons, asteroids and space travel. They will touch down on the surface of planets and moons, learning how to walk, observe and collect from new worlds.
During the adventures, real science facts and information will be presented in the dialogue, narrative and storylines. Facts will simply be written in bold type, making it easy to see when information is true, without distracting from the adventure.
